Ask almost any educator, and they will tell you that they often have difficultly managing maladaptive behaviors while attempting to instruct every child in the classroom.With over 15 years of experience in the school setting, I’ve had the privilege of working with children with ACE’s, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, CD, as well as Autism and Cognitive Delays. As a mom of a daughter with a dual diagnosis of Autism & Down Syndrome, I’ve served in an education and advocacy role for her, as well as for other caregivers like me. As a Behavior Analyst, I work to share behavioral intervention strategies with teachers and staff. My strengths include communication, active listening, parent involvement, professional development, organization, writing strategic data-driven behavior plans, advocacy, enhancing executive functioning skills, and problem solving.
