ABOUT KELECHI NDUKWE
I am a recent PhD graduate in Neuroscience from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where I studied drug repurposing for Alzheimer\'s Disease. I discovered that a specific compound could reduce memory deficits and alter neuroprotective genes in female rats, which could have therapeutic potential for treating the majority of patients with Alzheimer\'s. I have published my findings in a peer-reviewed journal and presented them at several conferences. Additionally, I have completed several certifications and courses in patent law, biomedical translation, and commercialization, to broaden my skills and understanding of the business of science. I am interested in pursuing a career where I can apply my scientific expertise and entrepreneurial mindset to bridge the gap between academia and industry, and contribute to the development and delivery of innovative solutions for unmet medical needs.
