ABOUT KELCY NEWELL

The Robotics and Automation Development (RAD) team’s mission is to develop robotics that scientists would be crazy not to use. This mission has guided us as we attempt to revolutionize biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing through innovative robotics applications. We have successfully increased laboratory productivity and pioneered the orchestration of multiple robotics processes to maximize those gains. We are actively collaborating to integrate of machine learning enhanced error handling and advanced analytics in our processes, while evolving our FAIR robotics platform.The RAD team, has made leaps in high-throughput process development and analytics, leading to more efficient and data-centric operations. The transformative work in robotics we\'ve accomplished at AstraZeneca not only enhances scientific innovation but also empowers scientists to increase their focus on science and away from repetitive, mind numbing tasks.
