Ensure synchronization and alignment of National and Joint Staff strategy through the representation of the Joint Staff during strategic document re-writes/refresh. Represent the Joint Staff with the Secretary of Defense\'s Defeat-ISIS Task Force during engagements by ensuring synchronization of efforts. Represent the Joint Staff during interagency CT related engagements to include the Executive Implementation Working Groups (EIG), Counterterrorism Security Groups, Policy Coordinating Committee Meetings, Deputy Committee Group, and Principal Committee Group. Develop read ahead material and prepare senior leaders to represent the Chairman\'s equities during interagency meetings. Demonstrate subject matter expertise in assigned counterterrorism areas and portfolios by advising Division personnel on work projects, and leading counterterrorism strategy/plans/policy formulation. Foster unity of effort in counterterrorism by forging DoD, whole of government, and whole of coalition cohesiveness through open lines of communication and advancing teamwork across the counterterrorism enterprise. Synchronize the Joint Force’s counter violent extremist organization activities with Interagency partners to align political and military objectives and integrate partner nation military efforts into a unified and coherent transregional, globally integrated strategic approach.
