ABOUT KEIVAN AMINI

In a few words: I\'m an experimental physicist working day-to-day with robots. In much more words: I like every concept that is very hard to understand, and this is a huge problem because at some point I\'ll be so frustrated that I\'ll eventually lose all my hair. Just kidding.(Not really.)Currently, I am lucky enough to be a PhD student at Institut Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique (Sorbonne Université) and at Gulliver laboratory (École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles), in Paris, supervised by Nicolas Bredeche and Olivier Dauchot. My project aims to better understand the collective behavior that emerges in systems comprising large numbers of robots under local communication and decentralized learning rules. To that end, I combine statistical physics, active-matter concepts, and experiments to model and control these systems.
