   Provide overall direction of the administration, programming and strategic plan of the foundation and assets. Maintains knowledge of accepted standards and best practices of nonprofit operations, serves as the principal liaison between the Board of Directors and staff, as spokesperson for the foundation and liaison to other organizations in Oak Park, around the country and abroad. With the Treasurer, oversees financial operations and monitors implementation of the budget throughout the year after Board approval. The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park (EHFOP) is a literary arts and educational organization. The Foundation’s mission and objectives strive to preserve, educate and explore the creative excellence embodied in the life and writing of Ernest Hemingway. In addition to honoring the past, we also dedicate ourselves to the present and future, by striving to support writers and artists of all kinds, to hear their stories, to collectively engage both artists and audiences in serving as a community cornerstone.
