Keith Klemowits is a Managing Director in Grant Thornton’s Strategy & Transactions practice in Houston, Texas. Keith’s 20 years of global valuation experience includes the valuation of business enterprises, personal property, and intangible assets associated with mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, insurance, reorganizations, recapitalizations, federal taxes, gift and estate taxes, property tax, privatizations, employee stock ownership plans, bankruptcies, and others. Keith has also directed his focus and expertise toward the Energy industry, one of Grant Thornton’s Priority Industry Groups. Keith has practiced extensively in the energy sector throughout his valuation career, including the valuation of energy-related entities and assets in the renewables, upstream, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services. Keith has also presented on topics impacting the energy industry and was a speaker at the Annual ASA Energy Conference in Houston, Texas.Keith also has extensive experience which includes, but is not limited to, the following industries: utilities, manufacturing, consumer and industrial products, technology, insurance, financial services, transportation, and telecommunications.Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Keith held a position at American Appraisal (Currently Duff & Phelps) in their national valuation practice. Keith is an Accredited Senior Appraiser, CEIV holder, and earned an MBA in Finance from Marquette University, and a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
