About Keith Griffin

I help Fire and EMS leaders build stronger officers, stronger crews, and stronger firehouse cultures through a practical accountability development framework tailored to the realities and challenges of today\'s firehouse. As the founder of Firehouse Freedom, I work with firefighters, officers, and chiefs to develop the leadership accountability system, leadership development and communication needed to create trust, ownership, and confidence at every level of the department. My leadership experience spans more than 23 years in the United States Navy, culminating in a Command Master Chief role, where I led elite teams in Naval Search and Rescue, emergency medicine, and high-risk operations across combat zones and disaster environments. Those experiences taught me how to lead when lives are on the line, resources are limited, and split-second decisions matter. Today, I bring those lessons into the fire service through keynote speaking, workshops, and accountability training programs focused on real-world application, not theory. My mission is simple: To help Fire and EMS leaders lead with clarity, consistency, and confidence so their people can perform at their best when it matters most.
