ABOUT KEITH DUNMALL

Keith is a science communicator, educator, historian and writer who has worked as an educator for 20 years and in the heritage and museum sector for over 10 years. He has an MSc in Science Communication and Society from the University of Kent. His academic interest explores how institutions can transform current research practice occurring behind the scenes, into public engagement. His recent work at The Powell-Cotton Museum as the learning lead has led to the development of a new gallery space bringing together research and the public. He is an energetic positive thinker whose perceptive and innovative approach encourages others to see and participate in the bigger picture. Imaginative, dynamic and highly resourceful with the ability to motivate a team to exceed targets; he also uses these skills to educate students from primary school through to postgraduate level. He is a creative individual with high energy and a love of the new, willing to try anything twice.
