ABOUT KEITH BINDING
Luii’s mission is to develop and market novel continence aids that enhance daily life, but particularly the quality of life of those directly and indirectly affected by incontinence issues.Three key drivers lay behind the company’s formation. First, being inspired by the inventor of a novel urinary continence management product whom I coached on the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leaders In Innovation Fellowships Programme. Second, seeing at first hand the toll that urinary incontinence and its complications took on the health of my mother and, equally important, that of my father, her primary carer. Third, by a firm belief that there is a need for more effective, environmentally benign solutions to incontinence management.Originally a commercial lawyer, I have thirty years’ experience of working in and with technology-based companies, consultancies, and professional services firms on a wide range of commercialisation, market assessment and business development initiatives, primarily in the life sciences and environmental sectors.
