Manages the accounts, budgets, tax, payroll, cashflow, preparation of the statutory accounts and the regulatory accounting requirements in accordance with the CLC• Directly manages Finance, Legal Cashiers, HR and Payroll, IT and Tech Development teams by offering leadership and ensures key accountabilities are maintained• Implements changes to policies, introduces audit functions on procedures and ensures the company operates compliantly with an added focus on the CLC handbook, GDPR and Anti Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism• Implements and holds accountable leaders for budget variances, KPIs and corporate policy deviations or minor breaches• Deals with all HR matters including dismissals, disciplinary reviews, performance management and appeals• Hosts regular team leader meetings, 1:1s and town hall forum meeting to ensure all employees are updated on group matters and are allowed the opportunity to be heard to encourage a culture of openness, fairness and employee engagement• Manages and reports to shareholders, one being a PLC and ensures the numbers and corporate governance of the group aligns and comply with regulatory and corporate outlook• Sets up and heads the ‘Compliance Committee’ which covers key risk areas such as finances, people, HSE, GDPR and legal compliance• Sets up and heads the ‘Culture Committee’ which is a driving force of corporate culture improvement, corporate governance, ongoing staff engagement and development to achieve IIP Gold• Works directly with Team Leaders to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered following on from 1:1 reviews and has implemented a ‘Team Leader Charter’ to ensure clear lines of reporting and individual responsibilities are clearly defined and aligns with the groups vision• Works with the Head of Legal Practice to implement policies and controls within the Law firm
