ABOUT KEITH ROBERTSON

Keith joined Cobec in May of 2016 after being an Intelligence Community Senior Executive with over 22 years of Aviation and Space Systems cost estimating, Earned Value Management (EVM), and acquisition planning experience. In 2003, he was appointed by the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) to be the Director of the NRO’s Cost and Acquisition Assessment Group responsible for: conducting Independent Life Cycle Cost Estimates, overseeing Earned Value Management for all major NRO programs, and managing the NRO’s Acquisition programs and plans activities. He was the subject-matter advisor to the Director of the NRO in all those areas. He is an accomplished leader, program and personnel manager, collaborator, strategist, and an acquisition policy expert. Keith also served as the Executive Secretariat for the Joint Space Cost Council (JSCC); a unique National Security Space, Government and Industry forum that collectively works to enhance the state-of-the-art in Space Systems cost estimating and EVM. And, prior to joining the CIA, and assignment to the NRO, he developed acquisition cost estimates on a variety of multi-billion dollar air warfare systems for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Since joining Cobec, Keith has enjoyed getting back to his long-time career passion of conducting cost and program analysis. Keith currently provides Program Management, Cost, and Acquisition support to various FAA programs. Keith graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering. He holds a Masters Degree from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Engineering Administration. Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife, their three kids and their 115 pound Golden-Doodle named “Hops.”
