As the CEO and Cofounder of Tangled Roots Brewing Company, I have been leading the development of a successful craft beverage and hospitality business in the Mid West for over nine years. With a background in mechanical engineering and corporate finance, I have a unique combination of technical and strategic skills that enable me to create innovative and profitable solutions for the diverse and ever-evolving food and beverage industry.My career spans four continents and multiple roles, from managing director of a mid-sized brewing company with operating profit in excess of $100 million, to regional director of strategy and business development for SABMiller across six countries. I have a proven track record of driving value creation through acquisitions, disposals, and investments, as well as developing and executing stretched commercial and operational plans. I have also learned to adapt and assimilate to different cultures and markets, and to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams with a performance-oriented and results-driven focus. My passion is to follow my dreams and pursue excellence in everything I do.I am invested and will continue to invest in small businesses both on a minority and majority holding basis with a focus on scaleable opportunities with the right risk reward profiles and with a view to creating superior value for all stakeholders.
