In my current role as a Buyer for Chesapeake Public Schools, I oversee district-wide purchasing initiatives that directly support students, educators, and operational staff. I manage sourcing decisions, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements to ensure that all procurement activities align with fiscal responsibility, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. Previously, I led procurement and inventory operations for a technology-driven organization, where I was responsible for sourcing strategy across a $5M+ annual budget and delivered more than $600K in cost reductions. I am known for identifying process gaps, implementing data-driven solutions, and negotiating effectively to maximize value and operational performance. My background in the U.S. Navy—where I led firefighting operations and managed high-pressure, mission-critical responsibilities—instilled in me a strong foundation of discipline, accountability, and strategic execution. Combined with a BBA from Valdosta State University, these experiences shape my approach to leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
