I am the Engineering Manager for the M365 Developer Experience Team at Microsoft\'s office in Redmond, Washington. The Office Developer Experience team is part of the Microsoft Core Apps and Services group, which falls under the larger Application and Services Group. This group plays a significant role in Microsoft\'s productivity, communication, education, search, and information services sectors. The Applications and Services Group comprises research and development teams responsible for various Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Yammer, Teams, Skype, Bing, Bing Apps, MSN, Advertising platforms, and the business group. With a focus on delivering compelling and delightful experiences, the Applications and Services Group empowers individuals and organizations worldwide to achieve more. M365 EM Role includes. • Defining and delivering a developer experience including web, sdk, document and learning paths to potential developers • Providing automatic fraud and risk resistant free licenses to potential developers worth thousands of dollars each. High scale infrastructure owner with billions of dollars of licenses under management and distribution • Working with 30 products and defining their developer strategy and implementing their core ideas into something tangible that a developer can interact with to make their life easier and funnel them into our experiences. • Develop and manage bespoke experiences for our products which enable developers engage with the product in a frictionless manner. • Develop and support growth of our platform including development and management of our developer blog platform for all M365 products. • Adhering and staying ahead of the latest compliance – Cookie, Soc 2, FedRAMP, Accessibility, Privacy, Security, GDPR etc guidelines • The team consists of engineers, Designers, PM, Data Science, and content editors\\writers and a whole world of cross organizational partners.
