About Keith M. Jones

A 36 year veteran of the drinking water industry - I began my journey in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic where I was trained in field water purification and conducted field hygiene inspections. After the military I returned to my hometown of Perry Florida and took a job with the City of Perry\'s Water Department where I did all aspects of treatment and distribution. After my time with the city and completing my environmental studies at the University of Florida I took a position with the Florida Rural Water Association as a Circuit Rider and then Program Manager where I provided training and technical assistance to rural communities throughout the state. I was then asked to join the National Rural Water Association as the National Training and Technical Assistance Project Manager. During my time with National Rural Water I traveled the Nation working with State Rural Water Associations but was also fortunate to work in Washington D.C. on the reauthorization of the Safe Drinking Water Act as well as several other very important pieces of legislation related to the industry. Thereafter I spent 15 very successful years in the private sector providing treatment and technology solutions to drinking water and wastewater systems, first as a Regional Sales Manager while working for a leading corrosion control technology company during the Lead and Copper Rule promulgation, and then as a National Accounts Manager for an international chemical manufacturer in the water and wastewater industries. Then I merged the skills and experiences of those former post to serve as the Marketing Coordinator / Training Specialist for the California Rural Water Association. In March 2017 I took a position with SUEZ North America in the Utility Service / Advanced Solutions business unit as a Water System Consultant in California and Nevada. Today I am happy to say we are Utility Service Company, Inc. again and part of the larger USG Water Solutions family.
