As a SME I focused in the area of Technical Assurance, I played a key role in a specialist team responsible for drafting the contract scopes for NHP:• NEC Contract Drafting: Contributed to the development of the NEC contract, including the technical scope for the Project Delivery Partner (PDP). This involved ensuring alignment with technical standards and requirements while coordinating with other SMEs to prevent overlap and maintain a cohesive and comprehensive scope.• Technical Assurance Model Development: Designed a Technical Assurance delivery model for the NHP, helping the client establish a modern, effective assurance process that interlinked all departments ensuring tractability and BSA (Golden Thread requirements). • Procurement Involvement: Played a pivotal role in the procurement process for the PDP, DP, MWF & MWC which included- Writing the SQ (Supplier Questionnaire) questions for tender to market and engagement with lawyers to ensure compliance with procurement process- Evaluating SQ (Supplier Questionnaire) responses using the Award Platform- Engaging with Trusts representatives and NHSE on digital platform requirements for TA and benefits linking this for programme adoption and trust scheme adoption (i.e. ROI, programme comms, contract execution, etc). • Contract and Scope Co-Authoring: Co-authored both the PDP, DP, MWF, MWC contracts and the technical scope documents. I also ensured the integration of Technical Assurance into other SME sections of the scope.• Data and Digital Advisory: Advised the NHP on data and digital requirements, standards, and legal obligations to ensure compliance and effective execution. Implementation of required IT systems to ensure NHSE/NHP vision of a digital service will be delivered. • Government Collaboration: Liaised with other government bodies, such as TFL, HS2, MTR to conduct workshops and site visits, focusing on Smart Buildings and their operation and maintenance.
