Common deliverable packages include:FEL-1: process conceptualization, block flow diagrams, initial economic screeningFEL-2: process flow diagrams (PFDs) with mass and energy balances (MEBs) and improved OpEx and CapEx estimatesFEL-3: we build Smart P & IDs using AutoCAD P & ID software, along with other important deliverables such as Design Basis, Piping Specs, Equipment Specifications, General Arrangement layouts, and Control NarrativesDebottlenecking studies: for mature facilities, such as corn ethanol plants, the goal is to improve net profitability. This may be through debottlnecking (througput increase), yield improvements, utilities reductions, or combinations of the above. We offer solutions that combine plant operations and equipment data with Aspen Plus process simulation and knowledge the current biotechnology landscape to determine the most logical and cost-effective pathway to increased profitability. The company uses Aspen One suite of tools (Aspen Plus, Economic Analyzer, etc.) together with a team of experienced engineers with process development and operations experience to make processes profitable.
