ABOUT KEITH DUFFY

Highly motivated individual with over 12 years’ experience, proficient using both Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project (MSP) packages to deliver value for money and schedule maintenance in design and manufacture industries. This has involved working and communicating with stakeholders both internally and externally to build and maintain relationships. Worked with team leaders and design engineers to help achieve challenging deadlines set by the customer. Able to communicate at all levels within the business, therefore ensuring an excellent working environment. I started my career undergoing the Project Controls Apprenticeship (ECITB). During the first year training was undertaken in all fundamental aspects of Project Control, such as the Project Process, Project Controls, Document Controls, Procurement Process, Risk Management, Estimating, Planning and Scheduling, Cost Control and Monitoring, Commissioning and Handover. In addition training was completed in principle engineering construction, craft skills, including measuring and marking out, welding, fabrication and assembly of pipework systems, mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, slinging and lifting. Key skills have been gained which have ensured a professional development through my career including: Application of number, information technology, problem solving, communication and working with others.
