I have in-depth experience in Mobile applications, services and platforms A founder of a Mobile Application Delivery Platform (MADP) company in South Africa. I have years of business management experience, starting as a programmer, progressing to IT Director, then running large projects as Delivery Director responsible for teams of project managers and analysts, also performing as an operational executive in various organisations. I have founded 2 start-ups and have been on the board of three other companies. As my career has developed, I have become a disciple of two industry leaders, Jeff Sutherland, founder of SCRUM and Tom Peters. I have Implemented SCRUM across the organisation where I was a director, and also used KANBAN where appropriate.I understand the digital space and in the current environment, if you are not MOBILE, you are not digital. I am creative and understand the importance of design. I am religious about the UX.I have been both the supplier and a buyer of software product and services, so know the challenges of turning time into money and pleasing the customer at the same time. I have been involved with software production for over 20 yearsI have formal qualifications in IT and Psychology (BSc) and Project Management (PMP) as well a business school qualification from Wits Business School (MAP) and a project management diploma from UNISA Business School.
