WORK HISTORY
Co Director @Center For Trauma Recovery And Juvenile Justice Ctrjj
The CTRJJ is a Category II Training and Technical Assistance Center affiliated with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. The CTRJJ overarching goal is to support a comprehensive framework for developing, adopting, implementing, and sustaining evidence-based, trauma-informed services to youth with justice system involvement (Y-JSI), youth at risk for justice system involvement, and their families. CTRJJ approaches this work guided by implementation science principles. CTRJJ recognizes that support of youth and families occurs through a systems-lens and prioritizes youth and families as active partners in system change. CTRJJ also recognizes that supporting youth, their families, and system transformation requires attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all activities that acknowledges and honors the intersecting identities of youth, families, and professionals and counters the historical and current pattern of racial and ethnic inequities within the justice system. CTRJJ supports that true system transformation requires a focus on enhancing communication and collaboration with all stakeholder groups intersection the justice system (Work Force, Providers, System Partners, Youth & Families)
