Manager @Shaw Industries
Asset and Procurement Management for Shaw Industries.
ABOUT KEITH COOPER
Over the course of my career at Shaw Industries, I’ve built a strong foundation in operational leadership, technology lifecycle management, and process optimization. Since 2006, I’ve led IT Asset and Procurement Management, overseeing the acquisition, tracking, and lifecycle planning for all hardware and software assets. My work focuses on using data to inform strategy—whether it\'s developing dashboards that track inventory and software usage, guiding configuration management, or establishing performance metrics to ensure alignment with business goals. I’ve been instrumental in refining vendor relationships and driving supply chain efficiency. By creating vendor performance metrics and streamlining delivery timelines, I’ve consistently improved cost control and asset availability. I’ve also taken the lead in enhancing IT work order processes and setting KPIs and SLAs that support continuous improvement across the organization. Prior to this, I was responsible for governance and compliance processes across the Information Systems division. From 2004 to 2006, I managed SOX and CoBIT compliance initiatives, audit relations, and strategic reporting to senior leadership. Earlier, I led the Office Services Department, managing a $2M+ budget and a large staff while modernizing mail, print, and courier operations. I introduced centralized service roles and paper-saving initiatives that improved both productivity and sustainability. My roots in the organization go back to 1984, and throughout my time at Shaw, I’ve held roles that span service coordination, printing supervision, and sales administration. Across each position, I’ve stayed focused on finding smarter ways to work—whether that’s through improving compliance, streamlining processes, or leveraging technology to support long-term success.
