As a Geologist in training, I am involved in a wide range of geotechnical and geological projects, combining hands-on fieldwork with technical analysis. Experienced in core logging of overburden, glacial deposits, oil sands, and hard rock in both laboratory and field environments. I occasionally supervise activities in the field or lab, ensuring quality of deliverables and that safety standards are met. Field work responsibilities include drilling monitoring which involve installation of vibrating wire piezometers (VWP), slope inclinometers, well installation (monitoring/observation wells and pumping wells). I supported mine operation through pit geology monitoring. I have also support on site investigation field mapping. Outside fieldwork, I have supported on preparing and completing technical reports, with occasional use of software such as Leapfrog and WellCAD. Additionally, I provide support for site investigation planning and execution. I am passionate about delivering quality geological deliverables and I thrive in a collaborative environment. Adaptable to different environments, I believe in providing a strong commitment to safety through mentoring and training of new individuals entering the industry.When I am not learning about geology, I spend my free time creating and selling art. I was chosen to display my at the +15 at the Arts Commons during March of 2019; My artwork highlights the stigma surrounding mental health. I also enjoy volunteering, and love giving back.
