For this role, I perform the following duties:• Monitoring and maintaining the Microsoft SQL databases.• Maintaining access to the SQL instances. • Creating and maintaining reports in SSRS.• Writing T-SQL scripts to query and amend data on the Microsoft SQL Databases. • Resolving issues with ETL jobs. • Resolving issues with SQL Agent jobs. • Troubleshooting data issues. • Assisting with customer security audits by using T-SQL and PowerShell.• Providing custom reports using T-SQL and PowerShell. • Improving and automating processes using T-SQL and PowerShell. • Implementing EntraID Authentication for the Azure SQL Databases and Azure SQL on VM.• Implementing performance monitoring for the SQL instances on PRTG and Grafana.I\'m also one of the on-call engineers for the Database and Infrastructure teams, which deals with issues that could cause downtime for the customer.
