Hi, I’m Keiran Peterson—a mechanical engineering student at the University of British Columbia with a passion for designing, building, and optimizing mechanical systems. My expertise lies in CAD modeling, rapid prototyping, and mechatronics, with hands-on experience in drivetrain design, FEA, and manufacturing.What I Do- Lead the Drivetrain & Braking Team at UBC Baja SAE, where I manage a team of seven to develop our first-generation 4WD powertrain for all-terrain racing- Work with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, MATLAB, and C++ to develop engineering solutions- Design and prototype innovative mechanical and mechatronic systems for competitive and personal projects.I thrive in high-performance, hands-on engineering environments where I can take ideas from concept to reality.
