About Keira Collins

I am an Honors Finance and Accounting student with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, passionate about how financial analysis, operations, and strategy intersect to drive business performance and decision-making.Through my academic work, I’ve built a strong foundation in financial reporting, managerial accounting, and data-driven analysis, with a growing interest in how companies improve processes, manage risk, and scale efficiently. I especially enjoy applying classroom concepts to real business contexts and understanding the “why” behind financial outcomes.Outside the classroom, I am an incoming Audit & Assurance Technology Controls Advisory intern at Deloitte, where I am excited to gain exposure to SOX controls, risk assessment, and how technology impacts financial reporting and assurance processes. I also currently work in fitness instruction at Body Burn Lagree, which has strengthened my communication, leadership, and client-facing skills in a fast-paced environment.I’m particularly interested in financial services, advisory, consulting, and operations roles that combine analytical thinking with real business impact. I enjoy environments that are collaborative, detail-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.I’m looking to continue building my experience in consulting and financial services while developing both technical expertise and leadership skills in the industry.
