Destination Canada, the Canadian Tourism Commission, is Canada\'s national tourism marketing organization. A federal Crown Corporation of the Government of Canada, we lead the Canadian tourism industry in marketing Canada as a premier four-season tourism destination. Destination Canada believes that tourism enhances the quality of life of Canadians and enriches the lives of guests. Our mission is to influence supply and build demand for the benefit of locals, communities and visitors through leading research, alignment with public and private sectors, and marketing Canada nationally and abroad. As an Event Manager with Destination Canada, I lead the planning and execution of our signature events, Rendez-vous Canada, GoMedia Canada, Incentive Canada and Innovate Canada. I also support the meetings and events for our corporate, internal, leisure side of the business. From strategic concept and procurement through to execution and reconciliation, I ensure the seamless delivery across the full event lifecycle.Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, I oversee the logistical planning for key stakeholder and committee meetings, provide direct support to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, and assist various business units in the execution of their industry engagements. My role ensures that all events align with organizational objectives while delivering exceptional experiences for our industry, partners and attendees.
