ABOUT KEIRA SORRELLS
I am the mother of 7 children including 4 angel babies and 2 surviving triplets and a full term singleton. After recognizing a gap in maternal infant health where the voice of the NICU parent was largely absent, I, along with a team of passionate NICU Parent Leaders set out to create a network to fill this gap. What began in 2012 with 6 member organizations has grown to over 40 NICU Parent Support Organizations, each expertly and professionally run by a NICU Parent Leader. We exist to represent the needs and best interests of NICU families in all facets of healthcare policy, care guidelines, advocacy, education, and family support.
