Hello!My name is Keira Coakley, and I am an ambitious and energetic second-year Advertising student at the South Carolina Honors College. While I am majoring in Advertising, I also have a deep love and admiration for theater. These interests often complement each other, as there is much \"advertising\" to be done when auditioning. I combined these two loves in my first internship through advertising a theatre program on Tik Tok. The fast-paced nature of social media, along with its use of algorithms, allowed me to learn how to track trends, edit videos in CapCut and Adobe, post regularly, and engage with followers to promote growth. I found engaging with followers directly through comments was especially rewarding and important to me because it showed how our program reached out to the audience directly. I am interested in pursuing this type of career in the future because the constantly changing landscape of advertising offers endless opportunities for personal and professional growth.
