ABOUT KEIL DAVIES

Keil is a highly experienced and recognised sales and marketing professional in the Australian and New Zealand construction and heavy equipment market and is currently responsible for the overall success of new equipment sales within Victoria for Porter Equipment Australia (Porter Group). Before moving to Australia in 2015, he worked as the National Sales Manager at Kubota New Zealand (previously Norwood), overseeing the company’s construction equipment business which included brands such as KUBOTA construction equipment and MOSA generators. During his tenure he increased Kubota\'s market share to become New Zealand\'s #1 selling mini excavator while increasing the division\'s bottom line by 45%. Keil was also the youngest member to be inducted into the company\'s high-performance fast track program and received a scholarship to study at Massy University. His recent achievements include delivering Porter Finance’s largest deal, which included successful negotiation of a finance facility valued at $10M+. In 2021, his contributions to the industry were recognised winning Australian Earthmoving magazine\'s Salesperson of the Year award and in 2023 he was awarded Porter Equipment Australia’s Territory Manager of the Year award for his strong leadership and sales performance. Keil has further contributed to the industry through service on various industry boards such as the Hire Industry Association of New Zealand and member of the NZ Contractors Federation and Equipment Suppliers Association. Keil is currently Porter Group’s national representative for the Construction Material Processors Association and the Hire and Rental Industry Association.
