I was a registered nurse for seven years serving mainly on the front lines of healthcare as an ER nurse, and now a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner. Building on over 14 years of experience in the medical field. Beginning in an entry-level role, I advanced through determination, hard work, and a strong commitment to lifelong learning.With the support of scholarships, mentors, and my family, I earned degrees in both science and nursing. I graduated from the top-ranked program in the country, obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University, and have contributed to the field through two publications.
