ABOUT KEIKAVOOS SOLEYMANI
Keikavoos Soleymani is a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer within the Integrated Engineering Design team at Stantec\'s Toronto office. With over 25 years of extensive experience in electrical engineering, he has held significant roles including electrical engineer, commissioning manager, and project manager, showcasing exceptional leadership and technical proficiency. Since joining Morrison Hershfield/Stantec in 2014, Keikavoos transitioned from the Commissioning team to the Mechanical & Electrical division, where he has consistently contributed his profound expertise in electrical system design, commissioning, and project management. Before his tenure in Canada, Keikavoos was instrumental in the development and commissioning of major power generation facilities in Iran. During his time with Tose Eh Nirou Company and O&M MAPNA, he led the commissioning of several large-scale power plants, including a six-unit thermal power plant (1,950 MW), more than 40 gas turbine units (6,360 MW), high-voltage substations (132 kV & 230 kV), and a two-unit combined-cycle power plant (320 MW).Keikavoos possesses extensive technical expertise in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on designing, analyzing, and maintaining power systems. His skills include medium- and low-voltage (MV/LV) electrical distribution system design. He excels at conducting comprehensive power system analyses to optimize performance and mitigate risks.He has a proven record in commissioning high, medium, and low-voltage (HV/MV/LV) electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. Additionally, his expertise includes the electrification of e-bus charging infrastructure, contributing to the advancement of sustainable transportation solutions.
