CFM Defect Engineer supports Fab 8 CFM (Contamination Free Manufacturing) facility in Malta, US. Work closely with the fab counterparts to improve the fab defect density and perform the root cause analysis of the defects identified during semiconductor manufacturing processes. Graduated with MS in Material Science and Engineering at Wayne State University, Michigan, US in May.Prior to the current job role, experience in working in class 100 cleanroom in Wayne State University. Research work includes semiconductor fabrication and process development of the FET devices. With an additional responsibility of cleanroom maintenance and maintenance of the semiconductor tools in the cleanroom, got an opportunity to understand, study and use various semiconductor manufacturing tools. Technical Skills• Defect sourcing and perform root cause defect analysis identified during semiconductor manufacturing processes.• Experience in the semiconductor processing techniques including photolithography, etch, deposition, annealing and lift off.• Clean room principles and its operation and chemical process of photolithography.• Knowledge of industry test standards from ISO and IATF.
