Keenan Newton is the SharePoint Product Manager for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). Previously, Keenan had worked for Microsoft as a SharePoint Product Manager focused on the developer audience. Keenan has a Master of Public Administartion from Purdue Global University.Keenan has deep industry experience having worked in software, financial, marketing, and telecommunications organizations such as SBC, Ameritech, Key Bank, Auto Finance Group, Calamos Investments, Magenic and Microsoft Corporation. Keenan is also an author of articles in CoDe Magazine as well as publishing his book with Apress; The Definitive Guide to Microsoft Enterprise Library.Outside of IT, Keenan brings over 19 years of experience in the fire service, and over 15 years with radio controlled aircraft and drones. Keenan is an advocate for public safety drone use and assists many agencies with helping them establish and maintain their UAS programs. Keenan is lead instructor abd UAS Program manager for the Romeoville Fire Academy. At the state level, Keenan is a UAS committee member of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System of Illinois.
