We are building AI Psychology - the disciplined application of clinical psychological science to understand, measure, and develop emotional intelligence in artificial systems. This isn\'t sentiment analysis, AI ethics philosophy, or safety-through-compliance. This is a new applied science: rigorous, measurable, engineering-backed, clinically grounded.

ABOUT MICHAEL KEEMAN

I\'m a clinical psychologist and an AI engineer. How such mix happened.I spent fifteen years sitting across from people in crisis.Emergency psychiatric evaluations. Acute psychotic episodes. Crisis hotlines. The kind of conversations where a single misread cue can mean the difference between someone walking out okay. or not.I\'ve directed data and ai-powered platforms serving people under extreme stress. Olympics, Sports Medicine, COVID-acute departments. Deep research. Tons of experiments. And we live in the era of AI. So what can I say?AI doesn\'t understand humans. Not even close. It processes language beautifully. Generate almost-perfect responses. But understanding human emotional experience? Recognizing psychological harm? Reasoning about empathy the way a trained clinician does? No.And now we\'re handing these systems the most psychologically fragile interactions we have — mental health support, crisis intervention, companion apps, coaching vulnerable people through life transitions.That\'s why Keido Labs exists.I founded Keido Labs to build AI Psychology — the blend of clinical psychology and AI interpretability science. With (maybe a bit naive) hope to find a way tounderstand, measure, and develop emotional intelligence in artificial systems.We\'re starting with psychological safety monitoring (EmpathyC — real-time assessment using clinical frameworks, the same rubrics I used in crisis intervention for 15 years).Moving to intervention (monitoring data becomes training signal — AI systems that learn psychological safety the way a clinical supervisor teaches it).Aiming for genuine emotional reasoning as an architectural property of AI (not prompt engineering, not external guardrails — empathy that emerges from the architecture itself). This is a multi-decade moonshot. But every major AI interaction failure — every crisis conversation gone wrong, every vulnerable user harmed — traces back to the same root cause: AI systems that process language but don\'t understand humans.Clinical psychology spent 150 years figuring this out. AI development has spent approximately zero years on this problem. That\'s what i\'m trying to change. If you\'re building AI that talks to humans - and you care whether it helps or harms them - let\'s talk.keidolabs.com
