As a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Thames Water, I lead on the inspection and assessment of a wide range of critical civil assets across the business, including raw water and service reservoirs, water towers, contact tanks, slow sand filters, and various other structures on water treatment works. I carry out detailed condition assessments, produce technical reports, and provide recommendations that inform both immediate remedial actions and long-term investment planning. I contribute to corporate governance by applying technical expertise and interpreting regulatory and legislative requirements to help shape best practices, policies, and asset management strategies. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, I also support the development of internal standards and processes, helping to ensure the resilience and safety of key water infrastructure across the region.
