   Develop test specifications for K-12 assessments used for a variety of purposes (placement tests, benchmark/interim tests, formative tests, universal screeners, progress monitoring assessments) Work with content development teams to ensure that items, passages, and other testing materials align to test specifications and are of the highest quality In collaboration with Psychometrics, Assessment Research, and Engineering, design logic supporting the administration of adaptive and fixed-form assessments Ensure assessments align with best practices in assessment design and the standards for educational and psychological testing Implement principles of universal design in test development including identifying appropriate accommodations for students with unique needs Keep up-to-date with state and federal legislation, state testing programs, and research in K-12 education, test design, and cognitive psychology to ensure that assessments reflect the needs of our educational partners and the students they serve Collaborate to design, maintain, and improve placement and adaptive learning mechanisms within our curriculum products
