Responsibilities Manage all operational aspects related to the execution of customer orders and projects across India contributing to the achievement of corporate business objectives.Conduct commercial analysis of purchase orders issued by clients against the quotations submitted by the company ensuring rectification of any discrepancies. Determine and finalize scope of the order identify and negotiate with vendors and award back-to-back orders considering all commercial aspects like freight costs, taxes, warranties and delivery period.Liaise and coordinate with OEM vendors and project teams across India ensuring on time delivery of equipment & materials to site, installation, commissioning, handover to client and project completion.Formulate and implement strategies to achieve year-on-year reduction in the cost of goods sold through development of alternate vendors, localization of sources and other initiatives to reduce equipment and freight costsManage inventories of consumables and common items implementing measures like setting of minimum-maximum levels to achieve targeted inventory turnover ratio.Monitor all costs & expenses across the order/project lifecycle to identify and leverage opportunities for reduction in equipment & freight costs and improve margins on orders/projects.Liaise & follow up with clients for on time award and/or renewal of annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for installed equipment & systems and monitor efficient and quality delivery of service to clients.HighlightsBuilt the operations department from scratch, developed the team and implemented required processes, systems, policies & procedures.Negotiated with service providers and achieved reduction of 3% to 5% in air freight costs.Developed local sources/vendors for various items and delivered cost savings of 8% to 10%
