I am a 2nd Year Accounting and Finance student at Aston University, currently undertaking my placement year as a Financial Operations Assistant at Radius. In this role, I support key financial processes including high-volume invoice generation, billing reconciliation, and month-end reporting. This experience has strengthened my attention to detail, understanding of the billing cycle, and ability to work accurately within structured financial control environments.Through my academic studies and professional experience, I have developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, capital allowances, tax computation, and data analysis. I also achieved a perfect score (156/156) in the Sage Accounting certification, demonstrating proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems and digital bookkeeping.Prior to my placement year, I worked with Prime Manchester, where I regularly analysed performance data, maintained accurate financial logs, and supported fundraising operations in a target-driven environment. This role strengthened my analytical mindset, resilience, and ability to perform effectively under pressure—transferable skills that continue to support my development within finance.I am committed to building a long-term career in finance and welcome opportunities to connect with professionals and organisations across the sector.
