ABOUT KEAN DOHERTY

Kean is a former senior reserve intelligence operator/analyst in the Canadian Armed Forces, with over 19 total years experience in the military. He has a diverse skill set that includes being a weapons SME, trained journalist and mentor/leader. Kean has outstanding interpersonal skills, is functionally bilingual in French, can juggle multiple tasks at once, produce detailed and informative intelligence reports and briefs and provide on-the-spot analysis for an array of stakeholders. Kean also has real world operational experience with the Canadian Armed Forces. He worked as an intelligence data operator on contract with the Ontario Provincial Police from July 2020 to February 2022. In that role Kean analyzed data for the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, wrote intelligence reports and quarterly reports and liaised with field intelligence investigators on a regular basis to identify intelligence gaps and source information to fill them. His background includes an array of military career advancement courses including Apple i2 Analyst, Open Source Intelligence Analyst, as well as awards (CD, commendation from the US Department of the Army). In 2019, Kean attained the Naval Security Team qualification, followed by a six-week deployment in support of Naval Operations Artemis and Reassurance. As part of this qualification, he is proficient in weapons handling, port security operations, open handed combat, first aid and communications.
