ABOUT KEANDRA LEVINGSTON

I am an experienced and forward thinking in-house entertainment attorney and Business Affairs Executive with more than 8 years experience at the intersection of law, content, and media. My career spans a global law firm, innovative production companies, and one of the world\'s leading talent agencies. Across these environments, I\'ve built a track record of structuring complex content deals, advising C-suite executives under fast paced conditions, and balancing legal risk with creative and business opportunity. At WME, I negotiate high value agreements for writers, producers, directors, production companies, and on-camera talent while counseling agents internally on strategic opportunities for growth. Previously, at Hello Sunshine, I helped build the company\'s legal and business affairs infrastructure during a period of rapid growth, drafting and negotiating agreements across production and development, branded content, and commercial transactions, while ensuring compliance with copyright, publicity, advertising, and guild regulations. My work at Bunim-Murray and Sidley Austin further contributed to my expertise in areas including television and digital content, intellectual property law, and complex commercial transactions. I am a graduate of Harvard Law School, where I was a member of the first all-women, and first Harvard Law based team to win the University-wide Grand Prize for Cultural Entrepreneurship. While at Harvard, I was also a clinical advocate in the Capital Punishment Clinic. I am a proud alumna of Spelman College (BA, summa cum laude) where I was a Social Justice Fellow. My passion for entertainment goes beyond my day job and into the pursuits of my personal life. As a former pageant queen, I enjoy singing and public speaking. In addition, I spend much of my free time writing scripts, poems, and music.
