Working on the engineering changes which affect the Assembly, Design and Inventory.• Develop and accurately assign new part codes for components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.• Create detailed and error-free Bills of Materials (BOMs) ensuring all necessary components and materials are listed.• Ensure timely updates to BOMs within 24 hours in response to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).• Perform thorough validation and verification of BOM data to maintain accuracy and consistency across all product documentation.• Work closely with design, engineering, procurement, and production teams to gather and incorporate all necessary BOM information.• Working on Obsolescence material list to optimize the inventory and provide alternative part as per schematic and Preparing the Alternate comparison sheet to validate the form fit and function for Electrical and Electromechanical parts.• Saved USD $ 491K for phase out inventory to use-up for 2024-25FY.• Updating the PCN, PDN and Last time buy data in the PLM tool. • Checking Excess and Shortage of inventory for Cut-in date to minimize the risk buy and cost exposure.• Preparing Mark-up document of Main part number with all possible MPNs.• Worked on 1600+ Engineering change request on BOM update and data update. Approving the changes in ECOs for implementation of assembly and notify the cross functional team.• Working with Contract Manufacturer (CMs) for use-up, Scrap and Rework assembly as per demand requirement.• Working on electrical & electromechanical components selection with parameters.• Collecting Component lifecycle and obsolescence of electronic components.• Proficiency in PLM tools (Agile, SAP-MM & Power BI) and component databases (e.g, Silicon Expert & IHS) for BOM and AVL management.
