Hola! I’m Karla, a Fashion Designer with a strong foundation in sewing, design, project management, logistics, and customer service. I taught myself to sew by trial and error, but a few years ago, I decided to formalize my knowledge by studying Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).My 14 years of experience in creating garments have taught me the importance of creating designs that are aesthetically pleasing and balanced while meeting the needs of the client and making them look fabulous in a practical and functional garment! In my five years as a Vendor Trade Compliance (Logistics) Specialist, I have learned to listen empathically to understand the needs of others, to find and provide the best possible solution for the problem at hand while adhering to company policies.
