As founder, CEO, and Chief Visionary Officer of Indus River Ventures Cody leads as a change agent by investing, incubating, acquiring, merging, and accelerating entities that enable the technological transformation of the healthcare industry to help many breathe well, sleep well and be well to serve better all stakeholders, including patients, payers, providers, and physicians. Cody Patel and the Indus Rivers teams identify unique ideas for healthcare before their time. Cody passionately serves as a board member of Life Houston, an Alumni board member of the University of St. Thomas, and has served as founding co-chair of the Center for Science and Health Professions at the University of St. Thomas, the board of Discovery Green, the board of Pratham (Houston Chapter), President of the Board of Goswami Academy and Texas Children\'s Hospital Ambassador program.

With his many years of experience in healthcare, he was able to develop a group of companies with value based programs in population health with focuses on asthma, COPD, CHF, sleep apnea, epilepsy and sleep disordered breathing. His work as CEO enabled Vitalus Health to differentiate itself from traditional \'old service lines\' by acting as collaborative partners, not just providers in the care of its patients and members. Cody has continued to provide exceptional leadership facilitating the company in providing state of the art connected home care solutions. Through his guidance, Vitalus Health is now able to provide caregiver support and on-going clinical support to all patients and improving outcomes and reducing healthcare cost and utilization.
