I am passionate about people - I love making connections, building relationships & thinking outside the box. My career started in the welding industry on the business operations side of things, and like many others, I lost my job during 2020. What seemed like a game-ender, became a game-changer and I landed a role wearing many hats in people operations with Paddio, a sister company to Veterans United Home Loans. My role encompassed many aspects, but some of my main responsibilities were- Owning New Hire Experience for all of our new hires- Creating & implementing a strategic plan to develop the culture & drive employee engagement- Facilitating employee small groups- Planning & executing events, both small and large-scale- Supporting employees through personal wins & struggles- Conduct surveys and 1:1\'s with leaders and employees to maintain a pulse on our strengths, weaknesses & threatsMore recently, I joined the O\'Reilly Hospitality Management team as their Safety, Culture & Engagement Partner. Now, I have the opportunity to learn an entirely new industry while supporting a team of more than 1800 incredible people! Every day looks different in my world, but one thing I am absolutely certain of - my heart is full when I can make an impact & help businesses be successful through their greatest asset - people.In my personal life, I spend most of my free time with my family - my husband Devan & I have two daughters, Charlee & Austen. We take full advantage of living in the beautiful Ozarks and love kayaking, hiking, fishing, gardening & spending days hanging out by the pool. If we have a \'parents’ night out,\' you\'ll find me at a concert or dinner with friends! I\'m a sucker for a cup of coffee, a good book & enjoy spending time on the ice playing my favorite sport - hockey.I love connecting with new people & building deeply rooted relationships.
