About Kevin Banahan
Kevin can’t stop skateboarding. For over 25 years, the challenge, creative outlet, and community formed around skating has become a part of him. After moving to Brooklyn in 2005 he began practicing yoga and found this to be the perfect balance to his skateboarding. Kevin is passionate about promoting a healthy and sustainable urban lifestyle for kids and adults. Through SKATEYOGI group classes and camp programs, as well as skate trips all around the world, Kevin has shared his love of skateboarding and learning with thousands of students.

Initially started as an adult skateboarding class for yoga students, SKATEYOGI now offers a full program of group classes, afterschool, private lessons, birthday parties and events as well as a unique summer camp program that combines STEM concepts with skateboarding.
