ABOUT KAZUO NOGUCHI
Kazuo Noguchi is a seasoned strategy, IT consultant, researcher with about 30 years of experiences in consulting and financial services as well as research. In his current position, he is a senior R&D manager and chief consultant, creating and executing business plans, R&D strategies, M&A, and alliance strategies with financial solutions vendors. Kazuo also initiated and orchestrated International Cyber Security Center of Excellence and global benchmarking survey of IT strategy in financial services. He is frequently engaged as hands-on IT and business consultant in the U.S. as well as in Japan in close collaboration with larger project teams. Kazuo in many respects is one of only very few consultants with practical cross-cultural experiences bringing Western best practices to Japanese financial institutions, and vice versa. His particular expertise lies in the application of latest technologies and standards in the financial industry, and recently Cybersecurity communities in government-industry-academia context. Prior to joining Hitachi, Kazuo was a Manager at KPMG in New York City. There he managed outsourcing strategy engagement of a Fortune 25 company, cross border adaptation of a 401(k) plan a large financial group.
