ABOUT KAZI MOHUA

From journalism to public sector, my education, training & professional experience have defined me as a compassionate storyteller and strategic thinker. Learning from the Fox News digital team and founding and leading the digital team at Independent Television has taken me through the leadership process. At Global Affairs Canada, I gained insight into Canada\'s foreign policy and diplomacy and learned how to ensure accountability. Working on two projects with the United Nations Development Program in the US and Bangladesh, I gained experience addressing complex issues and the importance of powerful storytelling in changing behaviour. My Fulbright Fellowship experience in the US greatly impacted my perspective on life. As a result, I carefully selected to study policy at the peak of my professional and personal awareness and decided to move to public sector. I am motivated to contribute to the much-needed systemic change in this field. I feel fortunate to have found work with companies I admire and organizations that make a significant impact.
