About Kaylyn Williams
I am a Senior Project Coordinator in the Center for Culturally Responsive Engagement at the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI). I have a background in Public Health and a passion for decreasing health disparities, particularly among children. I have worked in research, evaluation and technical assistance for projects relating to childhood wellbeing using a number of qualitative and quantitative research methods. My research experience extends to a number of areas including food and nutrition, early childhood education, housing, and health disparities. I have been successful at translating research findings into best practices while understanding the policies that inform these practices. Believing that well managed projects facilitate more successful outcomes, I invest in relationships, organization, and collaboration.
