   In the Pacific Northwest, where I call home, we have a phenomenon called a convergence zone. When two separate storm systems collide in this zone the weather becomes unstable and can result in above average rain, wind, or even hail storms. When making the transition to CET I like to use this analogy because as different software\'s collide it can create turbulent situations that require extra time and effort to address.I want to help ease the transition by stocking a designer’s toolbox with the correct tools necessary to help them work more efficiently. I like to take a holistic approach by looking at the complete system rather than analyze the individual parts. My hopes are this in turn will add value to a designer’s work life. By giving them the correct tools earlier in the process it allows them to be more creative and they have an advantage when beginning new projects.
